Wolf painting by Judy Huck
A Colorful Ode to Nature’s Beauty
“The Song Beneath the Moon”
On the edge of the wild forest, where the trees whispered secrets and the stars blinked awake, a lone wolf named Lira stood atop a rocky outcrop. The moon, bold and golden, hung low in the sky, casting a river of light across the hills. Lira’s fur shimmered with the colors of the night—deep blue, emerald green, and a hint of violet, as if she wore the sky itself.
Tonight was different. The air was thick with anticipation, and the wind carried the scent of distant rain. Lira lifted her head and sang—a song older than memory, woven from longing and hope. Her voice echoed through the valleys, stirring the hearts of hidden creatures and waking the ancient spirits of the land.
As her song faded, the moon seemed to pulse brighter, and from the shadows, other wolves emerged, drawn by the call. Together, they formed a chorus, their voices rising and falling in harmony with the night. In that moment, Lira knew she was never truly alone. The wild was her family, and the moon her eternal companion.
And so, beneath the swirling sky, the wolves sang—reminding the world that even in darkness, there is beauty, connection, and the promise of a new dawn.
